Trish goes to Hollywood... Direct Shopping Network

It's been a while, so I thought I would update you on the results of SURTEX and Licensing expo as well as other events. So, we are doing jeweled framed giclees in the Kirkland stores nationwide, contracted major publishers, working with an alternative wall decor company, a collectible plate manufacturer, and the latest is Direct Shopping Network on Dish Network and DirecTV. I will be filming 4 segments with DSN in Glendale, CA September 24. This is the day after Padres Contra El Cancer's 2010 annual gala "El Sueno De Esperanza" at the Palladium in LA. This is Eva Longoria Parker's charity which benefits the parents of children with cancer, hosted by George Lopez. I did the art for the event last year and this year and get to attend again! The weekend after that is the fall Cottonwood Art Festival in Richardson, Texas the first weekend in October.

LICENSING International Expo | The World's Brand & Property Marketplace

We are getting ready to go to LICENSING International Expo next week in Las Vegas. Not long now. It's hard to know what to expect, but our expectation is attract those in the industry who appreciate the maketability of Trish's brand. Response to Trish's latest group has been very strong. The difference between this show and SURTEX is that we are trying to sell the look and feel and her GLAMOROUS WOMEN IN FABULOUS PLACES trademark.

WOWZERS what a GREAT show SURTEX 2010 was! Trish found a publisher, a licensing agent for Europe, a gift bag company and note card company both with MAJOR distribution everywhere, Canadian stationary company, alternative wall decor manufacturer, calendar manufacturer, all who are signing Trish. We'll see what happens in Las Vegas next month. I love NYC :+)

This is actually Bryan, Trish's husband, but I am priming Trish on blogging so thought I would start with a quick update. We are in NYC right now in our booth at SURTEX. This show is in the Javitz Convention Center and is right next to the Stationary Show. In fact, we can see the sign for that show from our booth. We have only been going for 30 minutes and the crowds are thin, but we'll see what happens over the next 3 days. This show is really for textile design so we are a bit out of place, but maybe someone will see us and want to go for it.
